Just in case you were wondering…

I figured this would be the most efficient way to inform everyone that Grandma and Dad have made it safely to London. They are staying at the Remembrant Hotel right near Harrods, which is beautiful given that Harrods has trees with lights and is all decked out in Christmas decorations! I got there only about ten minutes before I saw them walk in from the lobby. You could tell Grandma was on a mission (skillfully experienced in traveling) while Dad was gazing upwards and sideways at the foreign atmosphere of a country across the world. He, being who he is, of course was in a neon yellow Harley Davidson shirt and a bright orange Columbia jacket. Lets just say that isn’t exactly the typical wear of a Londoner. But despite that, I couldn’t be happier or more proud to have them here. Their room is small with two twin beds but super cute. Also, right across the street from the Victorian Albert Museum which I believe they will go to tomorrow.

I spent a few hours with them today but both were tired and we had tea, Dad had a coffee, and then now they are off to bed and I am up till the wee hours with this cold and trying to finish this project!! Wish me luck for tomorrow! And more to come don’t worry :). Love you!

    1. Hi Sara, We definitely were anxious to know that your dad and Grandma Pat arrived safely and happily to spend some time with you for awhile. Your grandpa was at Bob’s house where Bob read your blog out loud so Fred could hear. Fred loves to see and hear ANYTHING about his grandkids, and I know he misses you very much. I’m so sorry you ended up catching that cold (but it couldn’t have been just the chill in Wales…it had to be a germ you ran into somewhere, along with being tired, run down, AND cold), and I wish you all the luck in the world for tomorrow’s project. You’ll be great. We know you’ll be busy with school, touring, and being with your dad and grandma, but keep the blogs coming as much as you can…even if they are short ones. You make it almost like being there. Love and hugs to all three of you. Aunt Jean
